Close on the heels of the residential and commercial complexes, in 1989, Mr. Rajeev Reddy acquired the palace of the erstwhile Prime Minister of the Nizam of Hyderabad, restored it to its former glory and transfigured the building into The Country Club, a division of Country Club (India) Ltd. This was India’s first club of its kind, exclusively for the middle class and upper middle class, with a package that contained every imaginable convenience a lifestyle club should have.
